A semi-gloss or gloss finish is the best choice when painting kitchen cabinets. A paint with some sheen will help reflect light and be more durable in the long run, which is important in the kitchen environment. Many formulas of both semi-gloss and glossy paint are described as washable and have increased resiliency when being washed or scrubbed clean. This is due to the fact that more resin and binders are used in formulating semi-gloss and glossy paint, giving the paint more durability.
However, the two biggest reasons to use latex paint for kitchen cabinets have to do with and yellowing. Water-based latex paints are typically available in low or no formulas. Oil paints release at much higher levels. Using a paint that is known to emit to enclose your food, spices, and eating utensils might give you second thoughts, since these emissions have been linked to eye, nose, and throat irritation, dizziness, fatigue, and more serious conditions. And since surfaces covered in oil paint can take a yellow hue over time, your kitchen cabinets might start to look off-color and dingy.
Unless you are dealing with an empty room with fresh drywall, kitchen walls will need a lot of cleaning. Assume that areas above and around the stove, oven, and counters need to be cleaned with warm water and 3-sodium phosphate. Door trim usually can benefit from the TSP cleaning, too. Remove dust and cobwebs from the tops of baseboards and other trim with a vacuum and a damp cloth.Mask and Cover

Select stainless steel, solid brass, stainless steel, or a faucet with a ceramic disk valve for a more durable faucet. It is more costly than components made of plastic. A heavier faucet will show stronger performance. Solid-brass bodies are going to last the longest. Plastic components faucets do not last and are cheaper. You might eventually have to substitute it, which is an extra expense to you.
